Explorer set to launch extensive range of quality pilot house cruisers.
Explorer Motor Yachts, the manufacturer of highly crafted luxury vessels with bespoke elements, is pleased to unveil its extensive range of quality pilot house models ranging from 36 to 70 feet.
The Explorer 60 made its debut at the prestigious Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes in September, the first Explorer 48 has been constructed and will shortly be shipped, and five more models in the range are currently in build in the company’s state of the art shipyard in Ningbo, China.
Negotiations are underway for the sale of the first Explorer 70, the flagship of the range. It is anticipated that the build will commence in early 2013 due for completion in 2015.
The collection of nine exquisite Explorers represents one of the world’s largest ranges of trawler yachts manufactured by a private company. Explorer Motor Yachts has developed the expansive range in a relatively short timeframe through investment in a state of the art shipbuilding facility coupled with the acquisition of moulds and intellectual property from Clipper Motor Yachts.
The full range comprises the Explorer 36, Explorer 40, Explorer 45, Explorer 48, Explorer 50, Explorer 55, Explorer 60, Explorer 62 and the Explorer 70.
Mark Campion, former Chief Executive at Clipper Motor Yachts, established Explorer Motor Yachts in 2012 to design and build bespoke pilot house yachts for discerning cruising clients offering a level of quality and customisation usually only available to the buyers of much larger boats.
By taking the best elements of the Clipper range based on over two decades of customer feedback, and incorporating the latest technological innovations and fuel efficiency, Explorer Motor Yachts provide unrivalled quality, premium functionality and superior resale value.
Mark Campion, Chief Executive, Explorer Motor Yachts, said: “We are delighted to announce that we are now manufacturing various models in our exclusive range of Explorer Motor Yachts. These quality pilot house cruisers with bespoke elements are now available through our network of international dealers to meet growing demand in the sector.”
Working in collaboration with Mr Yu at the Fuhua Shipbuilding Yard in Ningbo, Hong Kong based Campion has ensured that meticulous attention to detail, skilled craftsmanship and rigorous quality control measures underpin the build of each and every Explorer.
Yu has worked with members of the Explorer team for more than a decade and through heavy investment in the latest technology and staff welfare programmes at the shipyard, he has ensured that there is no better place in the world to construct an Explorer.
With sales agents appointed in the UK, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and Norway, and negotiations underway with dealers in a number of other geographical regions, Explorer is well placed to supply its quality yachts across Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australasia.
The Explorer 48 is the latest model in the range to be completed and the first boat will arrive in Europe in early 2013. Further information regarding where the Explorer 48 will be exhibited will be released in due course.
